ANYWAY...My name is Julia Katharine Penwell, but you can call me Kat. I'm currently a graduate student working on my MS in Psychology at Shippensburg University (in Pennsylvania) while mooching off of my parents in Shepherdstown, WV. I've lived in Morgantown, West Virginia, Baltimore, and Valencia, Spain (where I spent four months studying Spanish in early 2004). I'm a recent graduate of West Virginia University with degrees in Psychology and Foreign Language (Spanish Concentration).

Some other facts:
*I've been known to go back and forth between being happy-go-lucky and easily stressed. Thank a mild case of bipolar for that. I also have OCD. Whaddaya know, I'm a walking DSM-IV. If you have a problem with this mental illnesses, leave....now.
*My journal can sometimes be vulgar, frank, and gutteral. At other times, I can be mushy and emotional. I'm also known to write about my "person/place/thing" of the moment, repeatedly. If it's really juicy, it'll be a friend's only entry.
*I dislike: the New York Yankees, Virginia Tech, Marshall, Pitt, Grant Hackett, assholes, Hilary Duff, Lindsey Lohan, Harry Potter, waking up early in the morning, George W. Bush, and physical activity against my will.
*I like: The Red Sox, West Virginia University, music (all types...mostly rock and punk, but I have a taste for good rap...living in Baltimore will do that to you), traveling, crazy shit (cliff diving, parasailing, bungee jumping), swimming (and swimmer guys), men in uniform (mostly military uniform), tinkering with my laptop, being lazy, sleeping, and whatever else I feel like getting myself into.
*I am: myself, a registered Independent voter, Methodist, a band geek at heart, a closet rockstar.
